2) To make it a little easier for mapmakers to talk to one another about mapmaking - or work together on a map.

3) To run the occasional mapmaking competition.

We've set up a 'Mapmaking Tips' page, where you can post short comments and ideas that other people may find useful. For longer comments or essays, write an article on it (or copy an email, if it's easy enough for the uninformed to follow) and send it to articles@heroes.mycomport.com; it will be posted in the Articles section.
